Dayton was great! I drove up along with a fellow ham Mark Myers N4KSS. We both drove and had APRS running the whole trip. There was so much to do and see I know that I missed alot and had no idea it was even there. I spent a good ammount of time at the APRS booth. The main hall was filled with major vendors such as AES and HRO. Some companies such as Icom and Kenwood were in there too. There were about 4 more other VERY large rooms that held the rest of the inside vendors and displays. The outside stretched about a half mile. I can't wait to make it back next year.
Here is a shot from up in the chairs down on the main hall.
That is me standing just off to the side with the main hall in the back.
Here is a shot of Mike Musick, creator of PocketAPRS. He was a really nice guy to talk to. We talked about the new version of PAPRS and the new ShineMicro TNC that PAPRS now supports.
Here is Byon Garrabrant N6BG, creator of the TinyTrak, PicCon, PeekPack and GST-1. He is an amazing guy. I had a ball showing him my TinyTraks that I have put together as well as mine very early PeekPack. Byon had the latest version of the PeekPack there for display and said it would be comming soon (BETA TESTER! BETA TESTER!).
...and here he is, the one and only Bob Bruninga WB4APR, creator of APRS. He is AMAZING! He has so many good ideas, I can't wait to see what he has next in store. I talked to him as much as I could because it was just neat to hear him talk about any subject.
Here is Keith Sproul WU2Z. He is exactly half of the Sproul bothers duo. He is the creator of mainly MacAPRS. I got a chance to talk to him alot about SmartBeaconing. He plans to add it in sometime soon.

Here is a neat picture. First, there is Mark Myers N4KSS (left) and Mark Phillips G7LTT/KC2ENI (right). Mark and I got to know each other over the net by stumbling onto each others web sites. Mark is originally from England, hence the English call and now lives in New Jersey with a US call. When I was in the outside market, Mark turned around saw me and said "Hey! Arnt you, (looked ay my badge) yeah! Jason!" It was really neat, I had no idea I would just bump into him like that. Of all places for that to happen, DAYTON! I managed to catch up with him just at the end of the show for a picture. Mark N4KSS (left) drove up with me from Virginia
