Transmit Section - Motorola Spectra, 35 watts. The spectra looked pretty rough when we first got it. Dirty, beat up, missing some buttons and the LCD had crapped out. We managed to dig up an old spectra head and replace the bad LCD with the good one out of the good head. We kept the old head because it had a hard switch in it, instead of the typical soft switch used in spectras.
Receive Section - Motorola 800MHz Maxtrac converted for 900MHz convention receive. This radio was in much better shape than the spectra. A wipe down with a damp cloth and it was ready to go into the repeater case.
Duplexer - Lorch 900MHz self-contained deplexer. The duplexer is tuned to pass and reject a wide frequency range without any tuning. The duplexer uses SMA connectors, this was nice because we want to use somthing with as low loss as possible and SMA's are known for their low loss properties.
Controller - NHRC 5 controller. This controller has NHRC's advanced ID'ing algorithm as well as a secondary port that we'll use for linking the machine to a future additional site.
